AFFORDABLE HOUSING RESIDENT NAVIGATOR - FULL TIME - SPRING LAKE

 

Do you have experience working with youth, adults and families in social service delivery? We have a newly-available FULL TIME opportunity for a RESIDENT NAVIGATOR at one of our AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMPLEXES in SPRING LAKE. This people-centric role connects applicants and residents to the supportive services needed in order to enhance/maintain their independence and life skills as well as assisting our property manager with leasing units. Typical work hours are 9am - 5:30pm.

This position has a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and offers a comprehensive benefit package, effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Duties And Responsibilities

Manages the provisioning of on-site supportive services. Connects applicants and residents to the supportive services needed in order to enhance/maintain their independence and life skills. Assists Property Manager with leasing units.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. Provide direction and resources to residents to enhance their independence
  2. Assess residents’ needs and recommend services as indicated
  3. Provide information to residents and/or their designee regarding available resources and access procedures
  4. Coordinate and implement wellness education and enrichment programs to educate and support healthy lifestyles of residents
  5. Establish and maintain contact notes, to monitor progress and comply with program requirements
  6. Work with Property Manager to lease up and maintain low vacancies at the property
  7. Collect and establish a community resource directory of providers for use by staff and residents
  8. Collaborate with management in resolving resident disputes

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

 

Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or equivalent with three years’ experience working with youth, adults and families in social service delivery or five years’ experience with youth, adults and families in social service delivery

 

Experience

 

  • Three years’ experience working with youth, adults and families in social service delivery or five years’ experience with youth, adults and families in social service delivery
  • Statewide travel required. Valid unrestricted driver’s license with good driving record. Valid proof of automobile insurance
